About us

Laüma opened its doors on 2012.

Is a creative studio specialized on ceramics and directed by the ceramicist Laura Martín.

With our courses we want to promote the exchange, the autonomous learning and the creative freedom.

We work with small groups to be able to provide personalized attention.

Our main objective: to bring creativity closer to everyday life.

LAURA MARTÍN

Laura is the founder, teacher and manager of the space. Laüma is also the place where he develops his personal work as a ceramist.

In her work we can find sculptural ceramic projects, tableware and decorative ceramics collections or creative tableware for restoration.

Graduated in Fine Arts at the UB and specialized in sculpture, in 2009 she met the ceramist Cecilia Moriamez. She was living in Chile and studying at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Chile.

Since then Laura has not stopped training through monographic courses at the La Bisbal Ceramic School and in workshops of ceramists such as Miguel Molet, Penélope Vallejo or Sergi Pahíssa.

Currently he combines her work with her Postgraduate studies in Contemporary Applied Arts at the Massana school, specializing in fire arts.

She has participated in various national and international ceramic fairs such as Keramik Panorama, Ob’art, Terránia, N.A.C.E, Terracota Biennal, among others.
